We’ve put together seven different trips, each showcasing a different stretch of the historic canal and the communities along the way. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing day on the water, a chance to learn about local history, or a fun adventure with friends and family, there’s a trip for you. With transportation provided between select locations and special stops and experiences along the way, these are more than just boat rides, they’re a chance to explore the Erie Canal and discover the history, stories, and hidden gems along the way.

TRIP 1 : Waterloo to Clyde 4.5 hours, 27 miles, 4 locks

TRIP 2: Clyde to Lyons 2 hours, 12 miles, 4 locks

TRIP 3: Lyons to Palmyra 4 hours, 14.21 miles, 3 locks

TRIP 4: Palmyra up to Fairport back to Macedon Aprox 4.5-5 hours, 18-19miles, 1 lock

TRIP 5: Macedon to Newark 3 hours, 10.2 miles, 2 locks

TRIP 6: Newark to Lyons  3 hours, 5.7miles, 3 locks

TRIP 7: Lyons to Waterloo 5 hours, 30 miles, 6 locks

Set sail on the Seneca Lake Reel Tour for a 75-minute adventure, offered Thursday through Sunday at 2 PM and 4 PM all summer long! For just $30 per person, you’ll explore the beauty and history of Seneca Lake and its surroundings, while enjoying a full bar and onboard amenities like a restroom.
